November what a month

Well Daymo has settled down a touch, he's back on his meds which i keep control of, he is ignoring the ex girlfriend & her antics & letting lawyers deal with determining if Luke is his or not. He managed to give me version 15 of the latest chest cold/infection but thats life. The good news is that he has a new girlfriend who he is very focused on at the moment. She is a shy girl who seems a bit fragile and Daymo is super protective of her. At least he is not thinking dark thoughts & wrapped up in his own little world. The other exciting news it that MAIB seem to think my broken ankle miraculously healed itself so I trotted off for a new bone scan & its still buggered so I will have an argument with them over my meds. The bad or good news depending on how you view it is the scan actually showed one of my kidneys has stopped working so I am having that looked at now, they've always been slow release due to problems with the way they formed but they were both functioning last time they were checked, that might have been 15 or 16 years ago. The other bad news is my nephew went to prison for a while & yes he deserved to go tho he probably should have gone into the psych part but he chose his defence strategy & his mum is now a total mess. He sould have been diagnosed when he was 15 but his dad said there was nothing wrong with him & wouldn't let her take him to shrink. At the moment he has been diagnosed with three psych conditions which are a rough mix but hopefully one day they will find the right meds to settle him a touch. Thats about it for this month. Ups & downs as usual.

Daymo's latest antics

Well monday arvo following a drunk uncles visit & lecture daymo's who was fragile following breakup with girlfriend decided that he would like to die on girlfriends front lawn again. So at about 10pm he took as much of his epilepsy meds as he could & the last of his happy pills. He texted me goodbye & i took the unusual step of not ringing the cops as it took 3 hours to find him last time. At midnight or so survival kicked in & he texted me to ring him. He was halfway to the next town, couldnt walk & was very incoherent. So I jumped in his car & went to find him, eventually spotted him got him in car & took him to hospital with a few stops for a chuck wasnt quick enough for one so i'm glad i took his car. Parked at the door of emergency dragged him in & said drug od, sat him in chair & went to park car more appropriately. Went back they had him somewhere to assess & i gave info on what i knew & begged yet again for them to section him (compulsory place in psych section). Anyway eventually they hooked him up to drip & took blood tests & i sat next to him for three hours watching him while they waited for tests & then psych to come in. He was about 6 times over his theraputic level of his epilepsy meds & they are toxic. So after i chatted to psych they admitted him & i went home for a sleep. His kidneys shut down as you do if someones not nice to you so he had to stay in hospital til his kidneys started & stayed working & he could walk. So whilst he didnt get put in psych ward he did find out how boring hospital is when your mum will only visit if shes knows youre not allowed out & you cant walk. He cant resume his meds til tuesday & has to see psychologist to try to deal with his issues. He is still a bit wobbly but his brain is on the planet he just has trouble remembering what day it is.

Introduction

Hi, I'm meadowlea. At the moment I am studying to become a Library Technician as I love books but hate writing essays. I am really into collecting tags and hope to learn how to do it in my summer break in a few months time. I am in Tasmania the small island to the south of Australia. I'm a mum of a 24 yo boy with problems, no hubby he passed away several years ago.
